The Friends of the Lafayette County Veterans Memorial seek to preserve, maintain, and expand the Lafayette County Veterans Memorial located on South 10^th Street in Lexington, Missouri. 

The first phase of the project is to expand the current memorial to include monuments containing information about four individuals from Lafayette county deemed to have made an historic impact on the United States Military’s war efforts. The cover drawing depicts the individual memorials on the north and south sides of the current memorial. The project will include space for the names of 200 additional veterans to be added to the memorial.
